Gauge & Grit
ConceptGauge and Grit is a fictional brand we invented to show how we think and work. It is not a client, and nothing here describes real results.
The made-up brief
A precision machine shop known for extremely tight tolerances wants to look as sharp as its work, especially when recruiting and quoting new customers.
The idea
The gauge dial is the brand. Its tick marks become a pattern, the G&G monogram sits where the needle would, and the tolerance number shows up everywhere like a signature.
It's an identity a machinist would respect and a purchasing manager would trust, without a single gear, forklift, or stock photo of a factory floor.
What we made
- Logo and monogram
- Gauge pattern system
- Stationery
- Recruiting campaign line
- Spec sheet templates
Why it's here
How a B2B or industrial brand can be confident and distinctive while staying true to the people who do the work.
